Are Weddings Boring to Other People

Going to someone else’s wedding is something that a lot of people like doing, after all you can get drunk for free, laugh at the groom when the best man dishes out all of the dirt and have a great meal all in the aid of someone you barely even know! I attended a wedding at the weekend and I admit that it was not very good at all, this is down to several reasons.

Not My Family

One of the biggest reasons why the day wasn’t great is because it was not my family so I knew around five people that were there which meant that not many people at all stopped and said a word to me which was rather rude. One of the people that I did (kind of know) got drunk within an hour or so and I didn’t like her anyway but she just got more and more of my hate as the evening went one.

Slightly Too Warm

Another problem was that I had to pop on a suit, tie and shirt on the hottest day of the year so far and get up to the capital which is around 90 minutes from my quiet town, gee, thanks for picking such a great day. Thanks very much! All in all I would say this was the worst bit of the day because I did not stop sweating at all during the course of the day, it was non stop and very horrible indeed! The music in the evening was very poor indeed and even with a few drinks down me I could only get up for a couple of dances to songs that sounded okay at best.

Positives

The food was delicious, the drinks were free but that was about it when it comes to the positives of the day I am afraid.

They did have a good wedding photographer in Kent that they found in one of those serviced offices London, he took great wedding photographs.
