Most musicians started to play musical equipments at their young age. some learned to play keyboards, some played guitars and some learned to play drum kits. When you are in school it is much easier and cheaper to learn musical instruments and it’s probably the best time to learn it as well if you are interested in music. Many of us are interested in music but playing a musical instrument is another thing, you have to know how to play it for people like me lol. I love music but I cannot play anything and I regret it.

Experts say that people who have learnt playing instruments from young age are much better than people who started learning in the later stages of their life. Everyone knows that to become a very good musician and a very good sportsman you have to start playing at a very young age. Learning drums is a different matter to be honest. Most people think drums are one of the easiest to learn out of many instruments – drum lovers you can argue with them. They say you just need to know one beat and start from that – isn’t that the same for any instruments?. Virtually all major rock beats are built around the basic 4/4 time signature on drums and if you learn to play this beat you can then flex and put in your own mixtures.

Guitars are probably one of the hardest instruments to play. People who play violin, piano, flute and leaves might question me on the above sentence. I am not going to explain why in this post as I am just going to be talking about playing drums in this post.

If you really want to start learning then you should play drums with a metronome it is a device of improve sense of timing and play in the same tempo. Many instruments these days have metronomes attached to it, if not then you can buy one from your local instrument store. These days there are extra equipments to help you learn more efficients in many instruments such as dj equipment, piano and many more. You should definitely consider playing at an early age or make sure your children learn from young age.
