ABC’s Lost is right up there with Dexter, The Wire, and Arrested Development as one of the top TV series of the 2010s! As a guy who has already seen every episode of every season of Lost, I am still planning on ordering the entire collection of Lost on Blu-Ray because this is the kind of show that will be great to watch a second time (and there’s a lot of cool bonus features included in the complete box set.)

If you’re new to Lost then I am actually jealous of you to be able to experience it for the very 1st time still. It is really that good of a show. It’s the kind of TV series that you are likely to fondly remember for the rest of your days.

To get the most out of watching Lost for the first time you really must buy the complete Lost series and then avoid all spoilers as much as you can. A great part of this series is having the “mysteries of the island” revealed slowly in amazingly unexpected ways. Don’t screw that up by looking up spoilers about the show!

You must also watch it from beginning to end in order. This is a true “serial” where every single episode leads to the next. It is all “one big story” instead of a show where each episode (or even season) has it’s own internal logic.

I must warn anyone reading this that this show is very addictive and that you very well may find yourself watching seven episodes in just one day (and yes I actually did this once!) It is one of those things where every episode really has you needing to know what happens on the next episode.

I must also really mention that this is a show for thinking people. What’s happening will not always be too obvious. If you’re looking fors predictable mindless entertainment, you should look somewhere else. You will have to make use of your brain when you watch this wonderful mystery unfold over 121 episodes.
