Some People Have Restricted Online Gambling in Their Homes

There are many people out there who still do not like Internet gambling. They feel that online poker destroys people lives after they get addicted to it. Gambling is also not allowed within few religions. It is strictly against Islamic religion and some religions inside Hinduism.

Some parents regardless to the religion just do not allow any sort of gambling in their house. Some said people get addicted to gambling and spend a lot of money for no reason and end up ruining their lives. In some instinct I agree with them but it also depends on the person itself on if he or she can control themselves from getting addictive to gambling. In my opinion online poker helps in other factors such as cultural awareness and sharpens your mental senses. Though I feel online poker and online gambling are completely two different things.

I have seen people whose mental senses have improved by playing poker whereas I have also seen people getting addictive to online gambling and wasting their money. As I was growing up my parents banned any types of gambling in our home except from the festival periods because he felt it gets too addictive and distracts the children from their studies. When I was 13 I was caught enjoying betfair poker on the net by my mother and believe me I got told off pretty bad. To be honest I would do the same when I have kids to make sure they do not get carried away with Internet gambling.

To be honest I still didn’t stop playing even after then but I didn’t get addicted to it and now I can say it has definitely improved my mental sharpness. I still enjoy playing rakeback deals poker but not often and certainly am not addicted to it. If asked to stop by my wife I can happily all the gambling activities. As I said it does depend on the person if you can control it or not.
