Group costumes can be a more crowd pleaser than just an individual costume. Going in a group in a costume party is really better than just going solo.

Organizing a group costume with some of your families and friends can be a bit hard, but if you manage to pull it off, it can be really rewarding. First, you must look for people that would like to join you in your group costume idea then choose a theme that all of you will agree on. Think about your numbers before choosing a costume theme. Choosing a group costume for 5 persons while your group consists of 4 or less people is really not a good idea. Another problem in group costumes is assigning a character to each person. This one, especially to children, can be a big problem. In a superhero group, for example, more people will want to wear a Superman costume than a Flash or Martian Manhunter costume. In choosing a costume for everyone, take in consideration the characters physical appearance. A member of your group that is either too fat or too thin will surely not look good as a Superman. However, if you can’t (or don’t want) to decide, there are always games of luck, such as a toss coin or rock, paper, scissors.

It is really a great and unique experience when going to a costume party in group costumes rather than being solo. It can be a very rewarding experience, especially if you managed to overcome the obstacles involved.
