Avatar takes place on the world of Pandora, a rich and lush jungle planet. The planet is inhabited by the Na’Vi, a tall blue skinned humanoid race. The Na’Vi are very in touch with their planet and are able to communicate with animals and nature in ways that are beyond our imagination.

The humans come to Pandora in order to mine a rare and valuable mineral from the planet. This of course creates a problem as the mining is destroying the planet that the Na’Vi are so in touch with. This brings a conflict between the humans and the Na’Vi. I won’t say any more about the movie so that I don’t spoil it for anyone who has not yet seen it.

Avatar is such a hit that the new Avatar Action Figures are all the rage. Avatar artwork is extremely popular too. With the cool Avatar toys and collectibles, fans are now able to bring a bit of Pandora home for years of enjoyment.
