In this freezing cold of England photos and videos of people having a fantastic time on swimming pools it makes me a bit jealous of them. I do hope we get the similar kind of summer we had last year in 2009. I was just browsing on the Internet finding some interesting facts for just general knowledge and found information on the World’s largest swimming pool on YouTube. Just the look of the pool was so beautiful that I had the urge to go there sooner than later.

The largest pool is called San Alfonso del Mar seawater pool, which is located in Algarrobo, Chile. It is approximately 1,020 meters long and covers upto 20 acres. It uses 66 million gallons of water and was open for use in 2006. Imagine how many pool covers they would need to cover up the whole pool. I am just intrigued to know how they would clean this swimming pool. To clean the swimming pool my house I know the swimming pool chemicals I need to clean the pool costs me a fortune in monthly basis, I just curious to know how much they would need to spend to keep this pool clean. These are the first few questions I want to ask them when I get to Algarrobo.

While I was browising through this pool, my other half glazed at me with innocent eyes and said I so wish we were there this Valentines. Those words made me think about may be she is right may be we should have been away this Valentines. I thought all night long and this morning I have made up my mind on taking her to Chile for our anniversary in March. It will come as a lovely surprise for her as she has been pretty tensed and worked up by work these days. It would have been a great surprise if I actually took her there without telling her where we would be going but that cannot be done because she will need to take time off work.

It also seems like you can various different activities on the pool other than just swimming such as wake boarding, scuba diving and water skiing. I am really looking forward to this break.
